Meters on Mayes County Rural Water District are read monthly by the Operators.
This process usually is completed sometime between the 17th and 22nd day of the month. Reads are downloaded to the office and reviewed for possible misreads and high usage meters.
If your meter is determined to have high usage, you will be notified by phone at the number on file at the office. (Therefore, it is very important to update your phone number when it changes)
